In my opinion a chance to get a job for you after you finish the university is extramely small. I'm Polish with very good degrees from foreign universities and no job. So for you, as a foreigner without a work permission and basic Polish, I think you will have a very small chance. I read about some people from Spain who got a job in Poland after studying in Poland, they speak only English, but they work for computer companies and they are from European Union, so no need to get a work permit or visa.

Graduates in Poland get automatically around 2 years work permit but to have chance for job they must be IT graduates otherwise unemployment here is too big.

Graduates in Poland get automatically around 2 years work permit

Hi! All graduates get that permit regardless nationality and degree level? And they get the permit if they got a job or it doesn't matter?

I mean if I graduate fro Poland I get to stay in in for two years after graduation?

On the basis of the Regulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 20 July 2011. On cases in which employing a foreigner on Polish territory is permissible without obtaining a work permit (Dz. U. of 2011. No. 155, item . 919) from the requirement to hold a permit foreigners were released:

17 graduates of Polish secondary schools, higher education stationary or doctoral studies at Polish universities, research institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences and research institutes operating under the provisions of the research institutes

pip.gov.pl/html/pl/porady/07662052.htm

In English shortcut: According to the law from 2011, foreigner doesn't need work permit if is graduate of Polish high school, daily studies, phd of science institute.

Good question is if they don't need this work permit forever or only temporarily. 2 years mentioned by me before were only read somewhere in other forum, but I haven't seen any law document mentioning length of the no permit period.

Interesting is use of the word "dopusczalne" - so it suggests that this person can work without permit, but need some other paper instead. On the same list are Ukrainians and Belorussians and for them it's necessary for employer to send notification to local job office that he employs them (it's for less than 6 months in the year). maybe similar procedure applies to the graduates. (pupbialapodlaska.pl/informacje_dla_pracodawcow/zatrudnienie_spoza_ue_eog.html)

here:

Without a work permit can only hire a foreigner who is a citizen of an EU country or Norway , Iceland and Switzerland. In other cases, we must submit an application on behalf of the governor of the relevant permit . However, there are exceptions to this rule.

So it seems that graduate of Polish university doesn't need work permit, but needs to find employer in advance which will write official paper that he wants to employ him. With this paper he applies for Work Visa.

Anybody knows if such visa will be admitted automatically?

I also heard that "2 years" when I was in Turkey. But I've got no idea about it. I found this long time ago, I think it's Krakow Governorship website. It says:

FOREIGNERS RELEASED FROM THE OBLIGATION TO HAVE A WORK PERMIT

19. graduates of Polish upper secondary schools or full-time higher education studies or full-time doctorate studies in Polish universities,
-----

But there's no information about its limits as if it is 2 years or more.

I am really so curious about that, so does it mean that we can work without having a work permit after school and just apply for Karta Pobytu ( residence card)? Gotta find an expert about these subjects, I wanna work after school for a couple of years in here.

Read carefully what I wrote. It's the same source you link, just in English. I wrote:

"So it seems that graduate of Polish university doesn't need work permit, but needs to find employer in advance which will write official paper that he wants to employ him. With this paper he applies for Work Visa."

Send query to Polish embassy in your country and write us here an answer. Because if what I wrote above is true then the question is how big percentage of applicants get Work Visa.

I have send a question about foreigners exempt from work permit requirement to Mazowiecki Urząd Wojewódzki and I got confirming answer. Non EU foreigners who graduated Polish university (daily studies, now weekend) don't need work permit.

here is content of my inquiry and the answer:

Hello,
I give my answer :

" Dear Sir / Madam ,
I have a question about the interpretation of the content of the Act :
" Polish graduates of secondary schools , stationary
higher education or doctoral studies at the Polish
universities, research institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences or institutes
research operating under the provisions of research institutes ; "
foreigners - exempt / 92 , Aliens - exempt - from - obligation - OWN ania- let
down - to - prace.html

Does this mean that graduates of Polish -time higher education are
exempt from the requirement that only those graduates who have studied " in
research institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences or research institutes
operating under the provisions of the Research Institutes " ?
thank you very much for your answer, "
