The pros and cons of working at a small Language school ( Tarnowskie Gory )

I am thinking about working with a small school in a small town of only 60,000 people. The city is called Tarnowskie Góry. We have not yet done an interview or anything official, but I just wanted to get a general overview of what to expect from a school like this. Also, if anyone knows, how is Tarnowskie Góry? Is it a nice town?

Thanks

60,000 isn't that small. You'd have lots of things to do there. It's also spitting distance to Katowice, so if you need city life, it's not far. Smaller places give you a better idea of a country than big cities. TG has a long and interesting history, and the area is different from the rest of Poland in many ways. I've lived and taught in several capitals and a few small towns, and I reckon the best of both worlds can be had by living in a town near a city. You get the friendliness of a small place, and access to the bright lights.

Tarnowskie Góry?

Is great! There is a very big water park, and IMO great city center (main square) also there are interesting old mines in the city.

And like previous poster mentioned it is close to Katowice.

Try it out!
