An electrical engineering student from Turkey wants to study in Poland

Hello friends. My english isn't good. My name is Emre. I m from Turkey and i m stadying at Electrical Engineering.

I decided come to Poland. Next year, I will come Poland with Erasmus. But I dont know about Poland. My other alternative country was Sweden but i learn that Sweden's people is some racist. Also they aren t liking of Turks.

I don't know how bad racism is in sweden, but there's racism in poland too. Overall poles don't seem to like turks (dark, muslim) very much. I'm sure you'll be ok, whether in poland or sweden.

well I live in Sweden most European don't like Turkish because of their dirty behavior, if you are good to yourself and sure you will meet good people both in Poland or Sweden....wish you all the best

What nonsense. Turkey never acknowledged the partitions of Poland and we remember that.
They were an honourable enemy (unlike our dear Christian neighbours) and today Polish-Turkish
relations are very good.

Torq: the foreigers who replied to your post As someone who's worked in both Warsaw and Istanbul, I noticed plenty of similarities between Poles and Turks, most of them positive.

Torq: and today Polish-Turkish relations are very good. Yup, most people have no issue with Turks - only trouble I've ever heard of concerned Poles in Germany fighting with Turks, but that's a whole different story. I've got a Turkish friend here who has no issues at all.

Pride, a love of debating/arguing, hospitality, pragmatism, politeness. And I was surprised how similar the food can be!

Golabki, grilled meat, lots of gerkhins, a dislike of heavily spiced food, kopytki, plenty of cakes, lots of black tea, but above all surowka with nearly every main meal.

If you are from a coastal region of Turkey, first thing you need to worry about is the weather(in both countries). Weather forecast says it is -5 today but I feel at least -20.

If you are talking about lemon, You should see the Iranians :). They are eating beef, lamb and chicken (we also have some dishes you can add lemon but not everything )adding lemon which was very strange for me.

I liked the lemon with everything, and agree that the food is tastier. Wonderful soup - I remember one very similar to bogracz and another a bit like zurek. Plenty of white cheese too.

I was doing some business there for just a month and had to buy new clothes, a size bigger!

yes. come to Poland...it is very multi-cultural and wants foreigners to settle there to fill the gap left by all the people going to Ireland
