Yes! you can apply for a visa for your wife, Poland is a free country, but it doesn’t mean you’ll get it though.

Best regards.

I don't think so if she isn't a Norwegian citizen - but I may be wrong -

is it easy to love. Sadly no as the great Richard Ashcroft sang 'love is noise, love is pain'

Excuse me, Sir, but Norwegians speak and write much better English than that.

Why so? The guy is a complete **** who thinks he can bypass the truth, and make us believe that he got a wife in Pakistan and that he is Norwegian. When he himself writes like *^*^*^*^*^*.

This guy is from Pakistan and he simply wonders if he can apply for a visa.

Or i donnu....

Oh, you are very wrong. Norway is a member of the EEC. Its citizens and spouses of their citizens, can live and work in each and every EU member state. All 27 of 'em. Without a visa. All they need is a Norwegian passport and a marriage certificate.

Id wager a crisp fifty euro bill that the opening poster isn't of european descent either.

The "Norwegian" chap scored Norwegian citizenship, through marriage/asylum/having a child with a Norwegian woman. Hes made it now. The golden ticket. Now, he wants to impress the clan back home and has secured the hand of the young broad he perved over back in Pakistan. He was european citizenship. No need to even pay the dowry.

Am I right, or am I right?

I am Irish and can bet I write better Norwegian than that... and I only know a couple of sentences of the language! Native Norwegians write and speak English a lot better than that, sir or madam or whoever you are. And they don't say they are "a Norway guy". Good god.

But who once granted Norweigan citizenship then thinks 'Now I'm in the EU, I'm going to get my wife into Poland!' He'd have to be a special kind of Idiot not to get her Norweigan citezenship.

Begging your pardon, but it's rather presumptive to assume that because someone's from Norway, i.e. a Norwegian, that they automatically know excellent English! Many Pakistanis know British English, whereas most Scandinavians learn British English in school, yet often talk like longshoremen!

Mods, may I recommend IP checks to guard against potential trolls? The level of so-called Pakistani interest is beyond belief. I simply refuse to believe that there can be genuine interest to the level which we see on PF. Frankly speaking, it's absurd!

I am not sure Seanus
every single time I have advertised a job in Poland, I have been bombarded by Pakistanis and Indians looking for work

I am sure that there are an awful lot of Pakistanis, Indians and Nigerians who see Poland as a bit of a soft touch in getting entry into the EU

An IP check would help but it is giving the mods more work to do

how about banning all posts from non members?
you either join or you do not have the opportunity to post

actually, a quick check of the members list seems to give honest locations.

Very true, Wroc³aw. Such matters should really be taken care of through consulates or embassies.

I would be very surprised if they were not there already as most moderation forum tools have them on each post, but saying that I think these forums are of a bespoke design by Admin.

I just think that the level of Pakistani interest is unnatural. Marrying for visas is about as shallow as you get in terms of interpersonal relations.

All you need is an EEA Family Permit and its free to apply for, you dont need a visa per se..You are exercising your treaty rights as a student.

Now wasnt that easy to answer?

I don't think the guy's wife holds a Norwegian citizenship - I guess he wouldn't have asked if she had

That doesnt matter, if he is exercising his treaty rights as a student and he is a norweigen citizen, then he has every right to bring her to Poland on an EEA family permit, it actually easier for him to bring his wife to Poland that it would be for a Polish citizen to bring a spouse from an non EU country...

maybe it's true what you're stating buty I would be cautious - I would expect a lot of trouble from Polish visa officials

Easy to answer, yet you got it wrong.

He doesnt need a permit. He needs to get a flight. Present his and her passport along with a marriage certificate.

And he saunters through immigration controls.

Its that simple.
