Polish temporary card (I'm a student and my visa expires)

Hi, I have recently come to Poland to study and I came on a visa. My visa expires on the 19th of this month. One month after I came the dorm manager filled out a temporary residence card form for me (they do it the first time). However, that card is only valid till the 20th of this month. I would like to know if there is any way I can renew either the visa of that temporary residence card for a period longer than 3 months. Also I would prefer if someone could give me offices in Gdansk rather than in Warsaw.

there's this guy scottie1113 here - he's a teacher Gdańsk and should be familiar with immigration issues - try to contact him through the Personal Message feature in the forums
