Cześć.

A friend of my want to emigrate to Poland because he got a job offered in Poland and he know that the salary in Poland are lower then in the country where he come from (Holland.)
What is a normal salary for a native speaker? 1800? 2000? 3000? He speaks dutch and the job is just customer service, he got one job offer from Gdańsk and one from Kraków.

Does anybody know what he minimum can, or should expect?

Pozdrawiam,

You DO realize that your friend will be working in a call-centre. The fact that he is a native speaker is nothing special, as there are plenty of native speakers in both towns, who are engaged as call-centre staff.

I'd say the minimum should be about 2,500zł, which is okay but not great, especially in big cities like Gdańsk and Cracow. At least they are nice places to be ;)
But maybe he should directly ask the company offering him the job. I am just guessing. I could be wrong, of course.

Krakow is a very expensive city (in Polish terms), and if he doesn't want to scrimp and save then 2500zl would be a bit of a struggle. In Krakow I would say a minimum of between 2750 and 3000 NET, and for Gdansk 2600 to 3000 NET salaries would be livable. This of course all depends on the benefits package.

A ranking that I quoted here last week showed that Median salary for foreign language call center stuff is around 3000 PLN gross in Krakow and Wrocław and 4000 in Warszawa. Probably most people on this positions speak English and I guess Dutch would be payed more than median. Taxes are around 30%. If he manages to negotiate anything above it then it's good for him.

Wow - 3,000 gross, which works out at around 2,000 nett . How you can live on this is easy to find, apartments around 1500 (with bills), and with the rest (500) you can really live.
I know thousands have to live for less - so no comments on this aspect plkease- but if I was emigrating to another country, I would certainly want a bit better standard of living which 500 PLN per month can provide.

I don't know, the salaries listed here for a Native dutch speaker is a bit low.
People working with IT-support (basically a call center) Makes around 65-7000 ZL gross pr. month here at my Company in Krakow.
