Hi there!

I'm considering moving to Krakow around September 1st. With the current economic situation, is it possible to find enough work teaching English to support oneself?
I am a native speaker with a Master's degree in Second Language Acquisition, and a TEFL Certificate, but more importantly, I have 5 years experience teaching ESL/EFL (In Russia and in the USA)

Advice?

Krakow is flooded with natives. You'll be competing against backpackers who are willing to work for buttons - and while there's always well paying work out there, that work goes to people "in the know". The fact that you need a work permit also puts you at a massive disadvantage.

Exactly. Competition might be die-hard.
