Worlds Strongest Man Competition 2008 in Poland

Hi, does anyone know when & where the 2008 Polands worlds strongest man competition will be?Any information is welcome, THANKS.

i don't know where u live but if in the uk there will be some highlights from muscle beach ,leg of the super series in los angeles, on friday 8pm,channel five.it's probably something different.

Does anyone think Pudzianowski will get the 5th? I think the man is just a beast. He'll do it, or die trying.

hell yes, Polish Power will get his 5th!

Ofcourse he will do it, he is just so far ahead of the rest & is still quite young, he probablly has another 10yrs in the sport if he wants to, but i think he will be in the film industry within the next 3yrs & do a Arnold!

In ten years he will be dead. He is slowely killing himself with the steroids. Whilst he is currently the best ' no mistake ' he will not last long. Terry Hollands 'UK' is fast on his heals. WSM qualifiers from California is on UK channel 5 tonight! MP is strong but doesnt have the 'raw' strength of Savecas. He is a beast.

Yes he does, Mariusz is the best by far, ok he has his weak events (stones, fingals fingers), but thats about it, everything else &he walks it no prob, he should have won it 6 times by now

Pudzia is NOT arrogant, he's a super guy who likes to appear on talk shows and promote his sport. He speaks English too.

Pudzian is not really the strongest. He wins because he is very strong but also fast unlike many of these guys, who are huge like a mountain but hardly can walk. On Arnold Classic competition where only pure strength really matters Pudzian is close but not at the top.

True that, Pudzia did kickboxing so he is quite agile. He does a lot of general fitness work unlike bodybuilder types. His strength lies in his mental discipline and drive

This is my point Savecas(sp) holds many world strength records and always does well in the Arnold Classic. He won it in 2006 with MP in 5th.

im not sure about when/where in poland they are, but the person who said pudzianowski is going to kill himself is just stupid.. even if he wont be the best in the next couple of years (which i doubt), an0ther Pol will be there to take his spot, Sebastien Wenta.

To have won 4 WSM times and still be at the top of his game -IS- 'lasting long'. If he stopped competing toiday, he'd still be a legend for the next 40 years. How many athletes of any sort last any longer in championship form? Leanness and amount of muscle mass are two of the primary apsects of not only strength/fitness but HEALTH. Any other issues are well compensated for by these virtues , and MP may thereby be fairly considered to be much healthier than any of the internet warriors who predict his downfall. To say he's not the strongest is absurd: Every movement needs to trained as a SKILL, no matter how simply, purely strength related it may seem. Mariuz trains for what he's competing at, and he wins. The name of the event he wins is called "World's Strongest Man". If you have personal favorite events that aren't part of WSM, that's you. No one man can train to excel at every event. To waste time skill-training for events that you aren't competing at would be absurd.

There are other Polish competitors who will give him a run for his money. Dymek, Wenta and Toszek(?) being among them. Pudzian is too much of an all-rounder to lose. I'd've loved to have seen him pitted against Manfred Hoeberl and Magnus Ver Magnusson. He'd've found stiff competition in those 2

I'd never talk sh*t about him, he's one of my favourite people. He's everything a man should be. Getting to the final of Dances with Stars was a great achievement. Go Pudzian!!
