Wroclaw Meetup - A great evening out..

We had a fun evening meetup in Wroclaw where I met up with Wroclaw in Wroclaw. Also present was his lovely wife and a crisp new friend of mine, whom I met 60 mins before meeting Wroclaw.

Wroclaw is an engaging conversationalist and the topics that we discussed were so wide ranging that we had no clue on how time flew. The guy is so mature, his views are so well balanced and still he is open to new views, not to mention a subtle sense of humor. What seems like a matter of mins were close to four hours, as we had no sense of time.

Wroclaw's wife is very nice lady, thoughtful, mature and very outgoing. While her views on life and living is not exactly same as Wroclaw, they are such a lovely couple toghether that you would really go jealous.

My crisp new friend Jean was someone I was hosting from couchsurfing.com. He is a real traveller, who left his home in Canada more than 8 months back and since have travelled over 20 countries in Asia and Europe. The stories that he had to share was truly awe inspiring and I believe quite nostaligic for Wroclaw, who himself was a big time world traveller in his yesteryears.

Since the first fifteen minutes or so, anyone who would have sat in a far away table, would have looked at our table as a group of long standing friends. For thats how we felt like since quite early after meeting up. For sure, we are to keep in touch.. not just online, but in real life as well..

I'm lost for words. My wife and I had a really great time and that time passed so quickly.
You are great company to be with, and Jean, what can I say, he told some great stories. It was indeed a night to remember and something we must repeat. I couldn't believe what time it was when we got home. The time had just flown by. And that's a sign that we had a great time.

Other forum members have got to try this. You meet up, find a bar and the evening takes care of itself.
