xantala: Hello from Cuba!

Hello everybody! I am a Cuban student. I am making the final year in biochemistry. I have to admit that I feel a great admiration for Poland, and I think it´s one of the most beautiful places of the world... I had one of my best expiriences, with a person from Poland here, and I think that after that , Poland has introduced itself in a deep side of my heart....I really would like to meet some friends from Poland....The Polish people are amazing!

Thanks to all of you...I am studing in the Havana´s University, but it´s just one month for obtain my degree, I hope to follow hear about you, and you know....if you want to come here someday..don´t doubt it, Cuba is a great country too.

Soy un gringo de origin polones - I dont' know how correct that is, because I studied Spanish only one year a long tiem ag. My question is about Cuban Spanish. I have heard in colloquial speech the "s" sound tends to drop our or is barrely heard. And so one might hear something like "Como eta uted?" Es verdad?

Sounds like andalus..Hasta la vista turns in to "Ah ve ah"
