I'm impressed! You flicked thru a Polish dictionnary in one minute and worked out the meaning of '. I need a good Polish dictionnary, sounds like yours is the right one. What is the name of it please ?

Actually i worked it out, i knew what szmato meant already, you can kinda guess what the first word is, but perhaps it should be with a 'ł' and not a 'l' ?

I could be wrong and probably am! either way i think it was pretty obvious it was an insult!

Some words seem to take on whole new meanings depending on the context, Polish is starting to seem a lot harder than i first thought. Literary traslations rarely come out as anything like their intended meaning, my first experience of this came when someone thanked me for adding them to my friends list on Last-fm.
"dzięki za dodanie mnie do przyjaciół"

My best translation effort came out:
"thanks for my extra brick"

Needless to say i was a little confused, thought it might be some quirky Polish custom!
