can you read the dialect?

I read on the net that people who speak standard polish can understand kaszub but its difficult but a polish person can read it with ease? can anyone here read it? Or make sense of this i just pulled it from the net. Also does anyone know how "ë" is pronoucned?

I'm sorry if I answer to you wrong - I'm from Poland and my english is not very good.. (it's my probably first post on foreign-language forum :P) but I think that kaszubski dialect is incomprehensible for the most part. even for well-educated Pole. It's possible to understand only single words, - these without "umlaut" letters.
In this case, I don't understand text above in general because some of letters are'nt clear up (?) ( "ùżëtk&ugrave" - ??)

However, I understand only this:
and I can translate into:

Ni ma w tim nic dzéwnég - Nie ma w tym nic dziwnego
gôdają, a co jinszégò na mëslë mają - Co innego gadają, a co innego na myśli mają
lewi stronie sejmu - lewej stronie sejmu ;-) - on the left side of Sejm (Parlament)
tam wnet prawie jak na Kaszëbach - tam wnet prawie jak na Kaszubach

but I am not going to translate it into english :P

Thank you! Yes the ( "ùżëtk&ugrave" - ??) is a typo I think i just quickly cut and pasted this.

Trzeba jesz dopòwiedzec, że dzél ti mòwny apartnoscë wzął sã ze zwëczajny, lëdzczi przekòrë. Jeden z kaszëbsczich „słowòtwórców” miôł taką zasadã: „wiedno jinaczi jak pò pòlskù”... W ten hewò spòsób pòwstało sztëczné i czësto niepòtrzébné przepadlëskò midzë kaszëbizną a pòlaszëzną i tak samò rozeszłë sã drodżi kaszëbiznë pisóny i autenticzny, żëwi mòwë.

If you have got original text and signs "&&&" appeare only after you signed in post, then try exchange "&&&&" to normal signs, f.e. "ã" to "a" and sign in post not till then , - and I will try to translate it into stanard polish and, maybe, english.

It's remaining me to such polish texts, which is dated on 992 and named as "dagome iudex", which was equally indistinct.. :P It contained information about bounduary of first polish state, whose ruler was Mieszko I

I think kaszubs add "a" to the ends of some things. For example I have heard people refer to " DOMA" as home rather then "DOM" but I can't be sure.
