How do young Polish couples cope with financial issues?

I've noticed that Polish people get married and have children very early compared to people in Ireland.
Even the Polish people who live and work in Ireland are getting married and having children in their early 20s. While I don't criticise their decision and agree that perhaps it makes more sense to have children when you are younger and healthier, I do wonder how these people cope with financial issues etc.?

Most young people in Ireland cannot dream of buying a house, not to mention getting married and starting a family. Despite the fact that I've seen the Polish economy improve significantly over the last 3 years I've been visiting, I am still amazed at how people can afford to have children. How do they manage?

Most people in Ireland tend to wait until late 20's (29,29,30) to marry and start a family.
For me, its out of necessity, not out of choice.

One method - they live in one home with their families and don't move out until they can afford their own housing.

How long does this take on average? 10years?

A lot of the apartments I've been to in Poland are quite small, it would be hard to imagine 2families living there!

I think maybe British people want it all and are not prepared to compromise, and maybe polish people see family as more imporatant than a brand new car or the latest d.v.d player...

And Irish people see alcohol as more important than all of them.
But thats all just stereotypes, isn't it?
