All Dogfish head is fantastic. 90 min, Brown ale, Raison, 60 min and maybe Aprihop...if they have. Sledz, you hit a gold mine if they have these.

It was $8.00 a bottle for the Dogfish 120 but the Dogfish 60 was the same price for a 6 pack?

I`m saving that one for later, right now I`m drinking the Lomza:)

The Fat Tire was only $4.00 for a 22 oz

Yeah...save it for a special moment. It's so expensive because it's 20 freakin percent...like drinking 3-4 beers. You'll never come across a strong beer like this. Here it's $7-$9 depending on where you buy it. I'm so happy that you found it

If I were you, I'd try all of them. My favs are: Worldwide stout 18-20% - Brown ale 7.2% - 90 Min 9% - Aprihop 7%

Listen to me: "Piwo Żywe" (means "Alive Beer")
is the best of the best of the best of the BEST beer I've EVER had!!! it's much more better than other polish beers: Żywiec, Tyskie, Lech, even better than (the best I've thought) Warka Strong! and as well better than stella, guiness, heineken, carlsberg, corona.....
cos it's UNPASTEURIZED beer!!! have you ever heard bout it? it's natural, fresh ( expiry date only 5 weeks)
....and delicious beer, it's not as heavy as the others, but... khm, just .....silky and strong as well :) try this...
you can have it only in some stores in Poland (eg in "Albert" stores)

come and try :D
mhmmmm... :)

butlledgirl, you are a very wise woman. Żywe is in deed a top-notch beer. And since we are talking about small breweries products I would like to recommend Koźlak, Książęce, Kasztelan and of course my all time favorite Fortuna, mmmmmm...

From the mainstream beers, aside of those that already been named, Frater is worth mentioning but I'm not sure if it's still being made. It's been a while since I drank it the last time.

Yeah...see what I mean about a sipping beer. The first sip is tough, but your pallate gets used to it. Too expensive for me to drink all the time though. The 90 Min is tasty and also strong.

Polish beer is awesome, but America has the strongest beer in the world :)

Now what Europeans ?!?! ;)
