blackpool,

If you are living with, for example, your girlfriend's family and meals are taken care of then it's plenty.

However, it also makes a difference if you want to get out a bit and see the country.

Don't forget, if you have a problem, you can still use your hole in the wall card.

ina small town that would last me between 3 to 4 months, and still paying rent (400pln. 1 month), special deal though regarding rent.............

I would have 1000 in the banka s reserve though. in life threatening situations.

poor living but stretching the zloty note as far as possible.

Id say a GOOD 2 months, constant boozing and fast foods ect.

ive got about 2300PLN so far myself saved uop and its already starting to look like a big wod, next time though im gonna try and get more 200PLN notes it ease that...

my target is 5000PLN to take with me inc ash and to have 1000 pounds in the bank as reserve although try not to touch it as much as possible.

think of it as 2 months wages in your back pocket basically, since the average pole is surpsoe to earn 2500PLN, whether thats true or not I dont know. (average wage)

Not a good idea to carry 200zl notes. You'll have problems getting change in small shops.

No one ever gives me 200zl notes. I've had a few when cashing in at the Frankfurt airport, but like Wroclaw says, you can run into problems. In Poznan I had no troubles...but in Ch³opy I did.

Plus the fact of *his rich* from ppl seeing thsoe notes exchnaged.

100PLN should be ok?

I'l justy use 200PLN for paying rent wise, feels less bothering when you hand over many many polish money notes lol.

For 5000 zl (about 1650 USD) without paying rent I would last at least 3 months. Go shopping once a week in a supermarket and you save a lot. Food and clothes are most important in everyday life in Poland.

If you were smart (only smart people have 5,000 ZL, right/ , you would go to Belarus or even Ukraine and last 5 times as long as you'd have lasted in Poland

When I go to Poland alone and don't have to pay rent (living with the family) - just food, everyday activities, once or twice a week restaurant meal - 5000 ZL would probably be enough for about 2 months.
